I got there one day – just walked on by
our seminal crossroads crosswalk Kai.
This 3 line stanza I am thinking of using as an intro to a multipart #NarrativePoem. It used to have about 20 lines but I think it works better short.

I like that the idiom can be used in the positive as well. I've never understood the negative connotations with #black as it has so many positive attributes. This must be the origin of the #RollingStonesSong Paint It Black.

I've always thought of black as #masculine. When making a brief mention of it in a poem someone asked about it. He pointed out that blue was the social construct #BoyColor. This made me realize that the story would be even more effective if it showed these two colors in conjunction. #BlackPoem

This week I am going to experiment with the paint mixer tool in Affinity Photo to add more touches of other colors. This will build up the concept of my #BlackPoem. I've found in the my trials this last month that the concept became interesting when it incorporated subtle elements of more colors.
My favorite part of this project by far was putting together the #BlackPoem.
Built as a tribute to a friend this long poem story is an important backbone to this project. The unexpected outcome of using a neutral color is that its versatility finds a way of surprising me everyday! 🐈⬛
As this crossing of our paths was not in grade-school’s teach
or while finding our grownup selves in the study of high
it was in the middle while our faces spouted hairs like a peach
our names even had the same #SoulEnergy – #Kip and #Kai

Another black poem which uses the term adumbrative in a adjective form this time instead of as a verb. Other new words introduced scintillate and obversely.
This year I wrote a five page #BlackPoem. (learningtowalkagain.life/Black/) While doing so discovered the wonderful word #Adumbrate. Noticed it could be used as a noun and a verb and an adjective so I had to use it again on a later page! 🐈⬛ #Black
