Given how intensely I dislike peach, this is a shocker. Thankfully the other flavors mostly mask. Would be good in a thumbprint cookie.

In the 19 days so far of the #BonneMaman #AdventCalendar, 3 have been hazelnut & cocoa spread. Plus the calendar came with a whole jar of hazelnut & cocoa spread! The repeats mean fewer of the wonderful inventive #jamvent flavours that usually enliven December. I hope next year is more diverse.

Day 16 of #BonneMaman #AdventCalendar: La confiture du jour: orange-yuzu-grapefruit. Now, this is bitter done right. I like yuzu though I thought it would be too much with grapefruit and happily, I was wrong again. Really nice. Mild. Will be perfect on hot toast.

I got called out for missing a couple of days. Tardy Days 12 & 13 of #BonneMaman #AdventCalendar: red currant-raspberry. Thankfully the red currant overpowered the raspberry. Quite good. Also Apricot-honey which was damned skippy.

Day 11 of #BonneMaman #AdventCalendar: Pineapple-Rum-Vanilla. Pineapple was muted - not astringent at all. Thankfully it wasn’t overly sweet. A nice balance and lovely flavor. I have a bourbon-apricot glazed pork chop recipe that’s killer. I bet this would be amazing in the place of the apricot.
