In 1920, the sisters lived with Rose’s husband, Maine-born John W. Shiels, and two daughters at 1325 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. Both sisters successfully registered to vote on October 11th, 1920, and were listed among the 538 New Voters born in Rhode Island in the registries. #BostonHistory
