Blue Hills Parkway Community Meeting Milton High School Library, Jan 15 5:30 to 7:30 pm

I’m headed to the Blue Hills Parkway community meeting in Milton this afternoon. In line with the town Bike-Ped Master Plan, Complete Streets Implementation Plan and the regional #BostonToBlueHills trail network plan, this would help improve walking and cycling access across town.

We need safer bike connections to the Blue Hills. This is why we, NepRWA, Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition, the Milton Bike Committee, Solomon Foundation, HubLuv and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council are working on the #BostonToBlueHills regional trail plan.

The family route followed the trail to the beach, the intermediate ride visited three food forests and the advanced route highlighted planned bikeways to the Blue Hills. Here's a link to the MAPC page about the #BostonToBlueHills projects which would connect the #NeponsetTrail to the park and beyond
