Popped into the park yesterday for a short bike ride on Going-to-the-Sun Road and much needed brain laundry. McDonald Creek calmed my me with its blue-green hues and clear water.

Sun yesterday begged me to run to the park for a short hike around McDonald Creek. Despite the utter lack of low-elevation snow on the road and trail, it was a great day for brain laundry.

The sun sets behind the horizon while casting an orange glow in the sky that reflects in the glassy lake. In the foreground, the canoe also picks up some of the orange sunset glow.
Upon reaching the second lake in the Chain of Lakes, we set up at our campsite overlooking the water. It's the only campsite there...lovely #solitude. Sunset brought exquisite #brainlaundry.

A glassy lake on the left reflects a forest covered with a fog bank and topped with two snow-covered peaks.
A bit of brain laundry yesterday! Unseasonably high temperatures have prematurely melted low-elevation snow. It had the feel and look of the end of April...not the tail of March. Still fun to share with our visiting friends.
