One of my favorite stops along my #BreedingBirdSurvey route in #Woods county, #Oklahoma is at this bridge. The #donkey hanging out beneath it was a new one!

Three male, and one female Evening Grosbeak feeding on gravel roads. They are dark brown and yellow birds with bold white wing marks.
A dark-brown coloured Black Bear among vegetation.
A mountain peak with snow and scree slopes.
A Red-breasted Sapsucker visits it's sap wells. It is a colourful medium sized woodpecker with a red head and throat.
Some captures from my #BreedingBirdSurvey along the Lillooet River, between the lakes.

A black bear with a tan snout crosses a gravel road surrounded by a first of mostly deciduous trees.
I assisted my DH @scottdenkers.bsky.social with his #breedingbirdsurvey route yesterday and we saw this non-bird. #blackbear #silverskagitroad Best wishes, youngster!
A ridge of tall rocky peaks is beyond a green meadow fringed by deciduous trees. The mountains are covered in evergreen trees. The sky is blue with a few puffy white clouds.
A gently flowing river heads away toward a distant lake and snow-capped mountains on the horizon. The banks of the river are covered in green grass. The sky is blue with puffy white clouds lit by the sun.
Drove out to #skagitprovincialpark yesterday, one of my favourite places! #hozameenrange #skagitriver completed two bird lists, had a picnic lunch and flagged our #breedingbirdsurvey stops on the way back. #grateful
Common Sandpipers have made a welcome return to our upland lochs and rivers! Edmund Fellowes/ BTO
Ooft. Busy times here with #BreedingBirdSurvey, bird ringing, nest finding and recording, training, talks, events, and adding the flood of avian migrants into #BirdTrack. Sometimes we wish spring would slow down so we could keep up!!! Have a great weekend! #BirdingScotland
@btobirds.bsky.social I was out early this morning for my first #breedingbirdsurvey of the year. In the distance in a field of sheep with new born lambs I spotted tens of gulls - great black-backed, black headed and others. What attracts them? Do they eat the afterbirth?
This is such a fun episode of the #WarblersPodcast! Really great field stories and good hype up for the final year of the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas. Check it out:

My @BirdsCanada birdathon shirt didn't arrive in time for my big day BUT it did arrive in time for the #BreedingBirdSurvey we're doing tomorrow!
Taking a day off from counting ducks to count songbirds instead 🙃
Latest update of indicators of variation in #bird 🐦abundance with #French #BreedingBirdSurvey: scary 😨 decrease for farmland birds that have lost 1 bird in 3 over the last 17 years.
