SB 6309 is permitting acupuncture. By allowing Sound Transit to purchase property while filing permits, it can cut 2 years off delivering light rail.

It is our job as the public to demand that our elected leaders use every lever they have to build out our light rail system. We do not need to accept these options. The board can simplify station design, identify additional revenue and work towards better solutions. #BuildTheDamnTrains
Senate Bill 6148 would extend Sound Transit's bonding authority to 75 years, helping to build light rail faster and reduce the risk of cutting projects. This bill has a hearing TODAY at 4 PM in the House Transpo Committee.
