I love to write anything speculative. I started with SFF and expanded into afrosurrealism, horror, comedy, gothic.

I like to write about high-control groups, the arcane, and people disappearing. Black, queer, trans, neurodiverse, and disabled characters always 🫶🏾

I'm drawn to psychological and supernatural horror. I'm not a fan of blood and gore, makes me squeamish. But the mind? That's a place as scary and suffocating as the deep sea.

I think that’s the ticket. Moveable papers and a big surface to play around on. With my last (4 POV) book, I had a long strip of thick cardboard from some appliance, and it was perfect for my timeline and then notecards got placed along it on either side.

I need silence to write (or at least no distractions). I typically write at a desk with coffee—whether in the morning or afternoon. I try for 1 chapter a day but adjust as needed, with breaks in between drafts or projects. I’m always taking notes, brainstorming, or outlining.
