Home made rhubarb crumble. I soften the stalks in a bit of sugar in the saucepan first. No need to add liquid as there is enough in the stalks. That makes a nice juice depending on how you like it sweetened. Crumble is with a hand mixer rather than a machine, I get better results. The hand mixer takes a little longer but worth it. Usually brown sugar and oats added to the flour and butter.
First #RhubarbCrumble of the year. My rhubarb patch looking like a jungle this time of the year. Only ever seems to die back briefly in Nov-Dec.
