#Fluconazole potent inhibitor of #CYP2C9, decreasing the metabolism of #warfarin. Since the more active isomer of warfarin (S-warfarin) is primarily metabolized by CYP2C9, inhibition leads to significantly increased serum levels of warfarin, an elevated INR, and an increased risk of bleeding.
