Irein looks on sheepishly. Cahciua: No, but when you travel as much as I did, you recognize when someone needs to rest. Irein: ...Then you m-must have known s-since we met. B-Been tired for m-months, now.
Cahciua seats herself on the ledge, patting it for Irein to join her. Cahciua: Months, you say? Then you have to sit, /sit!/ You're on your feet too often. Irein: I'm o-okay, r-really. Cahciua: I wasn't asking.
Reluctantly, Irein sits next to Cahciua on the step. She scratches the back of her head nervously. Cahciua: There you go. Now was that so hard? Irein: It's p-positively ni-nightmarish. Cahciua: Then you and I are the same? Your feet itch the moment they stop moving. Irein: It's s-something li-like that.

"You're going to have to tell him something soon. It's been two years." Iyaate says. "How do I explain /this/ to him, though?" Cahciua asks.
Cahciua has her arms folded across her chest, despondent. "How do I tell my son that his father isn't coming for him?" Iyaate has no satisfying answer, "I don't know, Cahciua. But he's going to start asking questions."
