Erenville as a young teen, still going by the name Elene'shpya, stares out into the distant wilds of Tesh'pyani, Cahciua and Iyaate a ways off behind him, having a conversation. "You're going to have to tell him something soon. It's been two years." Iyaate says. "How do I explain /this/ to him, though?" Cahciua asks.

Cahciua has her arms folded across her chest, despondent. "How do I tell my son that his father isn't coming for him?" Iyaate has no satisfying answer, "I don't know, Cahciua. But he's going to start asking questions."

A shot of Tesh'pyani, with five Shetona scattered about the village- all women. "Your son isn't dim. He's aware that there are no boys in Tesh'pyani."

Cahciua doesn't know how to have the difficult talk with her son that his father refuses to come home for him.
