Yesterday I bought some records from someone who had reached out to me, needing to downsize quickly due to getting pushed out by a landlord. Got a handful of interesting LPs. Now playing: Canray Fontenot and Alphonse "Bois-Sec" Ardoin's Les Blues Du Bayou, a 1966 release on Melodeon Records, recorded in Virginia. Super pure: fiddle, accordion, triangle and vocals. Most of what I left behind were really pretty beat up or super common things I already had or didnt want). I didn't really need all the records I got. But the seller clearly appreciated the funds for what I did buy so it felt good ultimately.
