#Caltigara #AprilWorldbuilders while otherwise unwelcoming, the occasional trader comes by, and the tribe can trade various plant- and hide-based textiles for precious ores, trinkets, and tools. Their bird-like magnetosensitivity make magnetite a prized commodity, especially for artists.

Unlike most packs, who set base near water sources, Caltigarans focused more on being near their sacred grounds. There is a river to the south and a sizeable lake, but it's a long walk, and they're often filled with crocodiles.

As previously stated, theocratic. Security doesn't interfere in the details of daily activities, and the Translator (spiritual leader) helps the villagers enough that they follow rules of their own will, but the borders are tightly guarded compared to other tribes'.

Interesting question - my story takes place in my world's culture's stone age, so while there are definite congregations, they're few, far between, lack free-standing structures, and never populous enough to qualify as even a real town.

Im getting really excited with my progress! Here's a little test for the main rig for my #Caltigara series, even if the model is otherwise unready. The lips are going to remain muscle-less in the final story, but I wanted to show the range.

A male (left) and female (right) pair of Thyrokh, a fictional species of dromaeosaurid "raptors".
I swear, I've been really busy! A huge amount of art and story is on the way. In the meantime, here's a quick look at the species that make up a majority of the cast of my #Caltigara story. Our name is Anthroporaptor. Theirs is Thyrokhys.
