I’m thinking Possibly this is the the Priority 2 species #Calytrix oncophylla that’s found on Lateritic breakaways! Distribution seems to match too! But Maybe it’s also just C. leschenaultii 🙃 I mean still either way a very stunning species of Calytrix!! 😍😍
The Mytaceae family really is something special here in WA! #Calytrix leschenaultii, which I just so happened to have found around Lake Leschenaultia! This is a very widespread species in the southwest and I think it has to be one of my favs of the genus!
#Calytrix glutinosa, common in the northern Jarrah Forests mostly on granite outcrops and hillsides! A distinctive Calyx give this genus away, thread-like, probably aiding in dispersal 🤔 old flowers can be distinguished by their red stamens, where as they start off as white!
Again cause at this site there too were flowering up a storm #Calytrix depressa! This genus just has some of the most showiest of the genus!
