In our latest publication we highlight #atherosclerosis is already enhanced before the actual SLE diagnosis (diagnostic delay). Moreover #cardiovascular disease in #lupus is associated with an adverse outcome (including recurrent events and mortality). #cardiorheum

#Pericarditis has a high recurrence rate in #Lupus (20%), especially in younger patients (<40yrs). Use of prednisone >20mg is associated with a high recurrence rate, in a dose-dependent matter. Yet another reason to limit GC exposure. #EULAR2025 #CardioRheum
