Spotted in Waitrose yesterday - 'Limited edition' Carlin peas! This is as close as you can get to taste Tudor field peas. Carlins were first mentioned in 1562 by William Turner. Needless to say, I cleared the shelf but I am also growing Carlins in my garden this year #carlinpeas
