New fence with now quiet Ash the Lab. All materials and special tools moved to site via cargo bike and trailer. 144 BF of 5/8"x6" cedar. 320Lbs of concrete mix. 4@ 4x4x8'. 6 @ 2x4x6'. 1 box deck screws. 1 100 lb gas auger.

100 pound gas auger transported 7 miles round trip by bike.

One of two loads of lumber for fence.

New fence uses gate I built 5 years ago. It will all age to a matching color. Guardian Gnome on gate post.

In lighter news, the fence project is done. Looks good and reduces the excessive greetings by Ash the Lab of neighbors. All materials and rental tools moved by cargo bike/trailer.

Went to Chiltern Garden Centre as we were in the area and slugs ate all my seedlings 😭 Had a very mediocre lunch but then a great time buying plants.

I find it funny/infuriating when I'm loading up next to someone in a 4x4 who's carrying way less stuff than I am. #bikesky #carryshitolypmics l

Kurz bevor ich mich nachher wieder in die Arme der Bahn auf dem Weg in die Pendlerklause werfe, war noch Zeit die aktuelle Auflage der Sammelbände einzupacken und zur Post zu radeln. Ist zwar noch weit von #Carryshitolypmics entfernt, aber hey: die gesamte Großauflage der Bücher passt in ein Rad.
