Day 14 of #NWECPAdvent takes us from #Greenodd to #GrangeOverSands. We’ve crossed #CartmelFell on the old #CumbriaCoastalWay route as the #KCIIIECP isn’t open yet, to reach #HumphreyHead - a stunning grassed and wooded limestone outcrop with rare wildlife and views to #Morecambe and #Heysham. 1/2

Top and bottom small heath butterflies, these are only tiny and enjoy sitting sideways on blades of grass making them very hard to photograph! Centre is a green veined white.
