Tonight I recorded the #soundscape of #Cembra from distance at 8.00-8.30 pm. Most prominent sounds were:

-Grasshoppers
-Cuckoo birds (cuclus canorus)
-Mopeds
-Church bells (from four different villages)
-Football players

Never have I listen to a football game from a fantastic place like this.

The fountain at Piazza Ricci is opened after winter and water is running, just in time for the decibel meterings.

Today: traffic count day at Cembra. 5 hours done, 4 to go. My night shift was accompanied by phoenicurus phoenicurus, turdus merula, phylloscopus collybita, erithacus rubecula, passer domesticus and one lovesick felis catus.

We have had som very interesting days in #Cembra so far. Lots of nice people, sounds and varying weather. Yesterday was #listeningwalk day. We divide the village in to three zones and walked them at five different times of the day. Today we do 24h recording and traffic counting. #soundscape #someco

Yes, the group did blog posts with pics and audio snippets during the 2000 field work. GSM mobile network took it's time (like, forever) to upload but it was possible! 3kt html, some 200kt mp3 + 20kt jpeg = 223 kt for one blog post.
