Accidentally invented a new recipe by omitting butter from a coffee cake batter. Will know if it worked or not in a half hour or so. It’s gonna taste good as hell tho - bet!

3, stacked, golden brown, American style pancakes. With a chunky apple jam on top, it is brown in appearance due to the use of dark brown sugar.

I did also try and make a peppermint whipped cream (I'm hyperfixated on peppermint baking atm) but for some reason it tasted like grass?

I need to work on plating but it tasted absolutely delicious!
