A chickweed geometer moth rests on a piece of grass, surrounded by many other blades. It is facing upward. Its wings are spread out in a triangular shape. They are a dark yellow, almost orangish, with a thick pink line along the outer edge at the bottom. A little bit above that is another pink line that curves upward toward the middle. A little less than half-way up the outer wings on each side is a pink dot toward the outer edge of the wing. Its antennae stretch out before it and are feathered.
