🥰 HI Hero Carter’s 'My Place' is DiddiKicks ⚽. HI Mum Emma, "taking part in football like other children has been wonderful for his confidence, skills, and social development. It helps him feel capable, included, and brings him joy and a real sense of achievement". 🌟

The theme for #ChildMentalHealthWeek is #MyPlace, communities that help children feel supported & included.

For Katie, this was Cub Scouts: “I was never left out. Leaders adapted tasks to my needs. I competed in swimming galas, went camping, learned skills & grew in confidence.

💓“As Carter’s parent, trusting others with his care isn’t easy. But knowing he has Abbie, who truly understands him, means everything. Nursery is his place to be included, supported, and happy, and that peace of mind is priceless.” HI Mum Emma

When we talk about children’s mental health, it’s easy to focus on worries or challenges. But wellbeing is also shaped by children’s experiences of friendships, relationships and how they feel about themselves. Read Hayley’s blog for #ChildMentalHealthWeek here: www.acet-uk.com/child-mental...

#ChildMentalHealthWeek's theme is 'My Place', the people and communities that help children feel safe, understood, and that they belong.

For Elsie and her family, The Children’s Hyperinsulinism Charity is that place.
We are proud to be a #MyPlace for families living with CHI 💓

Next week is #ChildMentalHealthWeek. This year’s theme is My Place = the places where children feel supported, and that they belong.

Before then, a look back at a powerful story from a HI family:
💔 “She hates her life. It’s heartbreaking to feel her sorrow and frustration."
