5 years ago today, #ChinaGov arrested human rights lawyer #DingJiaxi & subjected him to #RSDL with #torture. After extended detention, the court sentenced him to 12 years for #subversion on Apr 10, 2023. The prison continues denying his right to family calls.

#Beijing targeted participants of the #Xiamen gathering, subjecting them to harsh and inhumane treatment such as #RSDL, where access to lawyers and family is completely cut off. We renew our call on #ChinaGov to repeal such cruel punishment.
