I snapped this on Whidbey Island and my searching around leads me to believe it's an American Searocket (cakile edentula).
I would love some confirmation if anyone is sure what it is.

Only went and missed last night's #wildflowerhour #coastalplants because we were... on the beach! Lots to see at #RhossiliBay including the highly localised Sea Stock and you can't beat Sea Holly
Honorary #coastalplants - especially as they'll probably be taken by the sea this winter. Common Fleabane, Great Burnet, Wild Carrot, and Perennial Sow-Thistle, slumping onto the beach below Cattersty Cliffs, Skinningrove.

The slumping coastal grasslands at Cattersty Cliffs, near Skinningrove contain some wonderful plants. Here we have Zigzag Clover, Common Fleabane, Saw-Wort, and Carline Thistle.

Strawberry Clover, Trifolium fragiferum, just where you showed me it would be @apeasbrain, on top of the cliffs at Saltdean. #WildflowerHour #CoastalPlants
Sea Lavender (let's just leave it at that, shall we) overlooking a moody English Channel at Rottingdean. I think there are 2 diff spp. in photo, one of which might be Rottingdean Sea Lavender. I had a look in Stace, but that made me need a lie down. #WildflowerHour #CoastalPlants
Rock Samphire, Crithmum maritimum, on the beach at Rottingdean for the #WildflowerHour #CoastalPlants challenge.
Sea Mayweed, Tripleurospermum maritimum, with its fleshy leaves, on the beach at Rottingdean for the #WildflowerHour #CoastalPlants challenge.
Sea rocket, Crambe maritima, on the shingle at Saltdean for the #WildflowerHour #CoastalPlants challenge.
Sea Heath, Frankenia laevis, revisited for the #WildflowerHour #CoastalPlants challenge. Kindly shown to me by @apeasbrain earlier this year, and I couldn't resist paying another visit today.

Exhilarating walk N. from Bridlington to the spectacular white cliffs of Flamborough Head - framed by Wild Teasel - & back along beach strewn with deeply pleasing smooth round chalk shingle. The North Sea inshore like milky brown coffee, not tempting to snorkel #coastalplants 5/5
Some spectacularly sculptural Weld and cheerful Kidney Vetch were among the #coastalplants along the base of the chalk cliffs at Bridlington, together with the more common Black Medick with its strange fruits and the big leaves of Coltsfoot.

For #wildflowerhour some #coastalplants of the chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head: Marram & Sea Plantain, sunny Sea Mayweed (Triplospermum maritimum) & Spear-leaved Orache (Atriplex prostrata) I think as well as Common Orache (Atriplex patula).
