A multiple action comics panel where a costumed hero (daredevil) flips over a chimney on a rooftop and avoids laser-like blasts coming from an off-panel villain. The continuous action is represented by “ghost” figures of the main character’s actions, which are faded and lightly colored. Only the final action of the character is colored in the same style as the rest of the panel.
A little while back, there was a #comicsdna trend going, and I’m reminded of it as I reread the Nocenti/Romita Jr #Daredevil. I keep trying to sneak continuous action panels into my scripts (likely to the consternation of my artists).

Dragonball was the first manga I read and what got me into the medium. Ghost in the Shell was my first mature manga. 3x3 eyes and The Five Star Stories influence my work today.

I had a very autistic hyperfixation on Garfield as a kid, I would collect the comic strips. X Men opened my eyes to what comics could be. RG Veda and Tokyo Babylon destroyed me.

There are two artists who I will always consider the best are depicting Batman, Jim Lee and Dustin Nguyen. No matter if the list is top 10 or top 100 favorite Batman artists, these two will always be at the top 2 spot. #comicsDNA #BatmanDay
