You can grow food cheaply in a small space, including apartment balconies or windowsills. I’ve gotten questions about how to get around using bagged soils and fertilizer (especially synthetics) in #containergardens.
It does require some more creativity, but here’s what I’ve done!

Very young wildflowers growing out of a green ceramic pot. They still need weeks before they’re mature enough to blossom.
My first garden update! Miss Zamboni and the lavender are getting quite aromatic, and the wildflowers are slowly recovering from the AZ heat on this lovely overcast day.
