Great to see #CopimConference referenced at #UKSG2026 🧡 @simonjbains.bsky.social

. @simonxix.com talking about a "small changes approach" inspired by Z. Coltman. It also reminds me of @rupertgatti.bsky.social's closing words at #CopimConference about "start small but have ambitions to the roof" #UKSG2026

Loads to dig into here: a really useful cross-cutting summary of the discussions at #CopimConference by @ebnunn.bsky.social

"Something that I have always appreciated about Copim is that open access is not understood as an ultimate beneficial end point in itself. No ‘open access at any cost’ here!"

Don't pose that question reluctantly! Pose it with vigour and force! Neither desire or willingness are static features. What the #copimconference showed me is that dial has moved on both - how do we keep it turning? what action(s) can we each take to turn it a little bit more? Scaling small actions!

After a week in London at #R2RConf and #CopimConference my open research roadshow continues at a 'Scottish Research Integrity and Culture Week' event at @rcsed.bsky.social in Edinburgh where I'm on a panel to talk about 'expanding openness' for arts + humanities.

Now I am in the conferencing groove -- I will be at @uksg.bsky.social representing @copim.bsky.social!

Looking forward to attending my first UKSG, reconnecting with a lot of the people I saw so recently at #CopimConference and meeting many more folks in Glasgow!

Thank you for such a fantastic two days #CopimConference. The infrastructure work you have done has been transformative for presses like @lsepress.bsky.social but just as important has been the community you built and comradeship you fostered - and long may that continue.

Heading home after a really energising and thought-provoking couple of days at the @copim.bsky.social conference. Huge thanks to everyone involved for organising such an inspiring programme celebrating the valuable work done by both Copim and #OpenBookFutures 👏 #CopimConference

On the train home from #CopimConference - flush from meeting many of my colleagues (awesome) for the first time and lots of other rather smashing people besides! I think the future of open access and scholarly comms are in good hands, if this gathering is at all representative!

On the train back to Manchester reflecting on a fab #CopimConference - I received some very kind feedback about my paper and have made new connections as well as being able to connect with existing ones. So many enthusiastic & interesting people in the @copim.bsky.social community. Thank you all!
