He has fairly frequent visits relating to “wow you’re nearly dead again, lemme see what you’re dealing with” situations in Liam’s world, and always ends the visit it with a “good luck kid”. Liam’s very lucky they have Primordial energy on their side or else they’d be very much dead many times over. The Boss wanted Death to reap their soul out of his usual job standards, so Death for the most part was “I dunno man that feels messed up- but damn your The Boss so okay I guess” . Luckily for Liam, their Primordial powers prevents their soul from being taken like that. Despite Liam forgetting many of the faces, names, and voices of the humans they used to live with in the bunker- that specific moment they remember vividly, of Death finding them helping Sir Ducky. Sometimes, after beast attacks, Death pops back into their world to see how they’re doing. Not to often- but enough to where they can have little chats. Life is curious about them too, so him keeping up with Liam was just to give gossip to her. But eventually it turns into like “Congrats I’m adopting you basically” and tends to give them advice.

In Bug World AU, he’s not sleeping or anything- he’s literally in that 2d dimension thanks to Liam’s left over Primordial powers of creating portals to different realities essentially. Liam could pull Prismo out like this and he’d be 3d They do this for 100 year intervals. Liam’s very lucky Scarab helped train them in transforming, otherwise they’d be having it really rough. This moment makes him finally remember the drawing he wanted to give to them when they finally became a Cosmic Being. He completely forgot about it when Liam was forced to forget all their memories when they turned into Azure.

Scarab never gets the courage to ask Azure (What other cosmic entities called Liam’s amnesiac self when they first turned into a cosmic being) if they’d be interested in being in a relationship with him- even though they obviously expressed a lot of interest in him. He was extremely terrified of the potential of them rejecting him. When he shouldn’t have worried so much, as they would have absolutely said yes to him even with their memories sealed away, especially since Liam’s affection for him carries over to their new self. As well as a nagging feeling that they’re missing something important. From this familiarity with Scarab before he even introduced himself, to how they felt like they’ve met Prismo and Cosmic Owl before. How Scarab acted so awkwardly- even almost sad and tense around them in moments where he caught himself expressing joy in their presence. As if there was some line he was afraid of crossing. Despite that, he always couldn’t stop himself from visiting them in their dimension and spending time with them (when they weren’t even assigned a job yet). The feeling in their head telling them they should know why, but just can’t grasp what exactly it is- and everyone else seems to be in on knowing more than them. Thankfully for the both of them, things turn out alright. A sudden unexpected visit from Bug World Finn and Jake is what triggers all the foggy memories being brought back clearly. Their two little brothers regal them with stories of their travels as human, and tease them about liking Scarab still. They get upset that their memories were forced away by The Boss because of of their past as a Primordial. But don’t let it bother them for long- and sorta get why it was done. Anyways, Liam’s the one brings up continuing their relationship. When their memories are restored, they’re hit hard with yearning. So they request Scarab to visit them immediately in their dimension. (Which he pops in instantly after a job)

They wanted to surprise him with the fact they have their memories back and anxious to see if he was interested in them still. Scarab on the other hand had a lot of anxiety, so he was assuming the worst of the “urgent call” from them. When Liam reveals their memories have returned and wished to be with him again, the God Auditor breaks down in tears with relief. Prismo and Cosmic Owl 100% knew this would eventually happen. And were relieved when it did because Scarab was being more of angry bug with all the other cosmic beings and focusing a lot on his work to the point that terrified everyone.

Personally, I like the idea of Prismo and Cosmic Owl enjoy hearing about gossip and friend’s relationships. Very much based on “Hoots” when Prismo and Owl are chatting on the television (More stuff in the ALT!)

Their ranking and role amongst the entities hasn’t been officiated just yet, but considering what they used to be eons past, The Boss allows them the same authority as Orbo. Eventually its decided be The Boss that they take over what was essentially the Citadel’s purpose of sealing away (and very rarely occasionally devouring and completely absorbing their essence erasing them from existence) really rancid cosmic entities. With a side of judging whether or not they really need to be imprisoned, with them having the permission and the power to release them. This leads to Orbo forking over the management of Scarab to them to “skip the middle man ya know?” Scarab misses them, but doesn’t know exactly how to reintroduce himself to them and was scared that: 1, he’ll make a bad first impression and 2, he really doesn’t want them to dislike him. Good news for him is that they already like him the moment the look at him
