Constantine did indeed win, and eventually decreed that Christianity was to be legal throughout the Empire & called the #CouncilOfNicaea in order to establish Christian orthodox belief in 325 C.E.. However, Constantine himself would not convert to Christianity until near death in 337 C.E.
