Sounds like a really fully thought through approach to #Cozyweb spaces on the #Fediverse. If my last Fediverse account hadn't been deleted by an incompetent admin, I'd be kicking the tyres.
One upside of #Meta abandoning moderation is that it may push people away from the wholly open “town square” / “everyone is an influencer” model of social networking into more #cozyweb self-moderated communities.
I’ve long suspected that’s a healthier approach to the internet, personally.
The question remains: Will the future of social networking be shaped by massive, unmoderated platforms—or smaller, thoughtfully curated communities? 🌟
