Happy #FossilFriday! #Mosasaurs were a group of predatory marine reptiles that lived during the Late #Cretaceous period. They had long tails for moving through the water, and flippers for steering. The #CretaceousCrossroads exhibit at MOR has two skeletal mounts of mosasaurs.

Last week, gave a tour to County Music Star #BradPaisley! Super cool guy, big dinosaur nut! Saw #SUETheTrexExperience, Hall of Horns & Teeth, Paleo Collection & upcoming #CretaceousCrossroads exhibit. Was brilliant at IDing dino-fossils! So good I offered him a Docent job :) Talked comic books too!

#FossilFriday fun fact- #CretaceousCrossroads, many of the exhibits MOR develops/installs, has #MontanaStateUniversity students working on it. @ryannestoddard.bsky.social is one of the "paleo-students" I have working on it & also the incoming #DeadLizardsSociety Student Paleo-Club President.

Doing smell/scent tests for upcoming #CretaceousCrossroads exhibit. There will be an interactive that has some "smells" of the Cretaceous. Here's are the names of the scents I am currently sampling- 1) Rotting Decay 2) Sulfur 3) Charred Corpse 4) Hell 5) Pine 6) Barnyard Manure. Office REEKS. LOL
