Long ago, near the creation of the universe, there were two powerful dragons. Tiamat and Bahamut. They were twins, and they ruled over and protected the universe. Tiamat is the primordial sea goddess in Mesopotamian mythology, known for giving birth to the first generation of gods and symbolizing the chaos of creation. Over time, she grew jealous of her twin brother Bahamut for being more popular and well beloved than her, always trying to one up each other. One day, both of them battled each other. It was so chaotic that they almost destroyed the entire universe. However, Bahamut used his godly powers to restore the universe and sealed away his twin sister so she could never cause chaos and distortion to the universe ever again. But who knows if that seal will be broken and Tiamat will unleash her jealousy fueled fury to the universe again. Tiamat is a greedy, vain, and arrogant goddess who embodies all the strengths of evil dragonkind and a few of their weaknesses.
Unlike his evil and jealous twin sister, Tiamat, Bahamut is a powerful, lawful good deity in Novae Terrae, revered as the king of good dragons and the sworn enemy of Tiamat, the queen of evil dragons. Bahamut champions justice, honor, and the downtrodden, offering aid and knowledge while preferring to let mortals fight their own battles against evil. He also controls the skys in Novae Terrae, making him the master of the sky. At the end of that universe threatening battle, Bahamut used up all of his godly powers to restore the universe and sealed away Tiamat, but he reverted into an egg in the process. As of this day, nobody knows where Bahamut's egg is located.
Here are the two major characters in my upcoming Crusaders of Monsters reboot, Tiamat, the Goddess of Dragons, and Bahamut, the God of Dragons. These two dragonic deities will be playing a major role in the story. #Bahamut #Tiamat #CrusadersofMonsters #Dragons #Deities #OC
