Congrats to the 2 finalists. This season stayed true to what made season 1 so popular, showcasing enormously talented chefs and the delicious food that they make. Although I think I still prefer season 1, season 2 was still an incredibly fun season.

I spoiled the next episode for myself but 1) the comments dropped off a lot for E8 (no surprise), 2) most of the comments that are there are JUST as annoyed as me and 3) again, what is the point of this show? Season 1 was much more enjoyable and better executed. #CulinaryClassWars2

It's funny that everything Choi Kang Rok does leads to braising. I admire how much Brewmaster Yun challenged herself. I prefer S1's tofu hell compared to S2's carrot hell. I'm predicting Culinary Monster reaches the finals and wins.

Loving #CulinaryClassWars2 as much as—maybe more than—Season 1. I’m on the ALL OR NOTHING 3x3 episode, but the judging bummed me out. It was supposed to be blind tasting only, yet they revealed the contestants first, which totally influenced the outcome. Felt wrong to me.

Culinary Monster surviving was expected. Brewmaster Yun surviving was not; winning the 4th round was also a big surprise. I wish more Black Spoons had survived. Pairing up for the 4th round was fun, but that 2nd half was cruel.

I liked that the teams aren't rushing for ingredients like in S1. The White Spoons were smart for going mainstream in the 1st round. That cliffhanger is crazy. Son Jong Won and Witch With A Wok really impressed me in this team battle.

Seoul Mother vs Jung Ho Young was a fun battle. Brewmaster Yun surprised me; she's a big underdog. Still rooting for her and also Annyeong Bonjour. Aside for Choi Kang Rok and Jung Ho Young, none of the White Spoons stood out for me yet.

#CulinaryClassWars2. Just finished watching episodes 1-3. I wonder if they can repeat the extraordinary success of season 1. It bugs me that some White Spoons referred to a few Black Spoons by their actual name. So far I'm rooting for Brewmaster Yun, Little Tiger, French Papa, and Iron Arms.
