This was my first DHd conference, and I really enjoyed my time in Vienna and the interesting discussions I had with other researchers. It was definitely inspiring. Thank you to #NFDI4Culture and #DHd for the travel grant and the opportunity to be part of this.

Daher nimmt die gezielte Konzeption von Formaten eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Planung von WissKomm-Projekten ein: Mit der Formatentwicklung stellen wir sicher, dass wissenschaftliche Inhalte verständlich und zugänglich aufbereitet werden. Dabei steht das Format in einem Zusammenspiel mit anderen Dimensionen der Wissenschaftskommunikation wie Ziel, Zielgruppe, Thema und Stil. Als Kreativstudio für Wissenschaftskommunikation entwickeln wir bei »Zum Staunen*« gemeinsam mit Forschenden innovative und zielgruppengerechte WissKomm-Formate. Visualization of the methods used as keyword clusters per abstract shows the relative share (%) of the method groups per year.

Based on an analysis of #DHd conference abstracts, I trace the evolution of #CLS methods from 2014 to 2025: from omnipresent #NetworkAnalysis and #Annotation, to the first appearance of #TopicModeling and #SentimentAnalysis, to #DeepLearning and #GenerativeAI.
