I couldn't help myself and built this clone of the EQD Ghost Echo Reverb over the last couple of days. This one has been on my list for my personal projects, and I'm super happy with how it came out.

Here you see what I called Cataclysm, a clone of the Maxon OD808/Ibenez TS808.
I had to give him a gold footswitch to match his awesome arctic white with gold hardware Les Paul.

"Frankie" is finally done. Based on an Oberheim VCF & fueled by my obsession with quirky Dweezil Zappa guitar sounds, I made a clone of a Maestro FSH-1. Of course, this started with Frank Zappa using this effect (see the song "Ship Ahoy").

Just finished building my first guitar pedal! It’s a compressor based on the Engineer’s Thumb design. Relatively straightforward to build and sounds great, balancing out the dynamics of my Telecaster and increasing sustain.

Diagram for the pedal, my initial idea. It shows the signal path for voltage from a 5v power supply through 2 different 3pdt switches. One switches between the onboard potentiometers and an outboard expression pedal, and the second switches between two onboard potentiometers. There are leds to indicate where the switches are set. There’s a voltmeter showing voltage drop along the output. The final design was very similar except minus one redundant led.

The completed pedal with blue and gold thunderbird artwork that didn’t turn out exactly how I envisioned due to using some shady old clear coat that caused the gold to crinkle. The indicator leds glow blue and the blue volt meter readout indicates that the pedal is set to 3.17 volts.
I made a cool thing! I wanted a cv box to control the filter sweep on a Behringer dual phase. It uses cv for this control, not an expression pedal. So I built a box that sends 5v through a regular expression pedal. It also switches between two pots that also control the same. #diypedal #guitar

I made these Tonebenders mkI based on the 1960s circuit using my own perf layout. mkI’s are notoriously finicky about biasing but I got 2 matched transistor sets which made it a little easier. Love this fuzzy, spitty old school circuit. #DIYpedal #FuzzPedal #tonebender
