Duckweeds (Lemna minor sensu lato) cover the surface of the upper region of Mill Pond in Durham, NH, together with closely related species (Wolffia sp. and Spirodela polyrhiza). Duckweeds in this region exhibited weak local adaptation to biotic (microbiome) and abiotic (water) features of their environment combined.
Observing weak adaptation of #duckweeds to their local microbiome depends on local pondwater
