#SaintDavid Only British saint to be born in the country. A Welsh 🏴 Bishop born c. 500. Believed the son of Sant, prince of #Powys and grandson of Ceredig ap Cunedda, King of #Ceredigion
He died on 1 March 589 in Mynyw #Dyfed and was canonized in 1123. #StDavidsDay has been celebrated ever since.
