Yeah, yeah, I know, it's not completely selfless, but I love how he embraces the new situation. I could change that.”' -- Jaxon Prescott I love how dedicated Macy is to giving Hannah a stable life, even though the teenager is frequently testing every nerve and boundary presented. She could've easily given in to Lilah's demands, but the fact that she didn't? I'll always cheer for those that fight for vulnerable kids. 👍🎉 She proves to be a stand-up sister many times over. How Jaxon balances and calms her makes everything even better. The standard cornucopia of family, close and distant, make appearances in this extended Dare family book/series. I love all of the little mentions and appearances. Nothing that requires prior reading, but it makes for happy moments for me. I borrowed the audio book. I read along with the audio book. The narrators are Joe Arden and Erin Mallon, both of whom I like. I love that we get two narrators for this series. Of course, I now want to go the next step and have them in duet, but I'll settle for this. 😘 🎧🩷🎧 Story: 4.5 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H = 30s; h = 29

(Book review) >Fake It 'Til She Caves 😁< Damon Prescott is pervy and ridiculous, but I kinda like that about him. As for Evie Wolfe, she's leaning toward the fearless side with a stubborn streak that's a mile wide. Together, that spells a good time. Well, in between all the trouble that's brewing in their respective lives. -- Book quote 'Speaking of boobs, he wondered how much cleavage Evie would show. Jesus, he was an asshole.' -- Damon Prescott I laughed, gasped, and enjoyed the ride with these two. It's definitely a 'he fell first' situation. I love how he decides to make her fall for him even while pretending they are only for now. It's a gamble, and I like how it plays out. I read along with the audio book.
