I finished ep. 30. 1st half a bit slow but the plot thickens with the court intrigue. #HouMinghao was what led me to this series and he doesn't disappoint! Glad to find Su Muyu, Su Changhe & Su Jie (from my favorite #BloodRiver) appear at last!

I found Su Chang He (Xiao Kai Zhong) from #DashingYouth and he is SUPPOSED to be Feng Xin/General Nan Yang from #EternalFaith ( #HeavenOfficialsBlessing ), if it ever actually happens! 😭

I was thinking of watching #DashingYouth next but it seems like it’s going to be a bromance that could have been BL. So despite it including #HeYu (from #SpeedandLove fame) and #HouMingHao I’ll leave it. I like a #HEA such a shame.

So I've stopped watching #BloodRiver because my friend says I really should watch #DashingYouth first. I trust her judgment. 👍🏻
I loved #TheBloodofYouth, but I think I only watched part of #DashingYouth, so I’m a bit out of the loop with respect to who the characters are etc - I’ll do a read up the next time I try the drama 👍
I'm five episodes into #BloodRiver, but so far it hasn't really clicked for me. Which is sad - I loved #TheBloodOfYouth and even liked #DashingYouth, and Su Muyu as a character has always interested me.
This one is in the same universe as #DashingYouth and #TheBloodOfYouth so some characters are referenced and even make an appearance in this one. Like #BaiShu above.
The one that turned me into a #HouMingHao fan is the #cdrama #WhenWeWereYoung and #AGirlLikeMe (if you liked #LesBelles, this is your cup of tea). I also recommend #BackFromTheBrink.
I am told #DashingYouth and #FangsOfFortune are really good but I haven’t had the chance to see them.
