The lilac-purple flowers with small white centers, are Trailing Lantana; the orange (with a splash of pink) flowers with vivid yellow centers, are Purslane – both thrive in the desert… The butterfly is a large Swallowtail, mostly black & light-yellow in color: several blue & orange accents are on outside of lower wing. Seen early October, a few years ago.
