Many AANHPI women experience large wage gaps that aren’t visible when you only look at the averages.
In order to truly fight for #AANHPIEqualPay, we need to #DisaggregateData for the over 25 unique ethnic groups that make up the AANHPI community.
Combining data for over 25 unique ethnic groups in one number does not give you an accurate picture. We need to #DisaggregateData to get us closer to #AANHPIEqualPay.
To sum it up, averaging pay data across 25+ AANHPI ethnic groups hides deeper inequities. To close these gaps, we must #DisaggregateData and push for #AANHPIEqualPay.
