Discovered an incredible #mustwatch #documetary by Richard Gordon & Carma Hinton about the life of countryside Chinese women in the aftermath of the one child policy. Very honest and direct. Filmed in 1982/1983 in Long Bow, a rural village 400 mile southwest of Beijing.

This #documetary is important in all senses. Love, D Mark and Death documents the protest singers, the harrowing labor conditions of Turkish migrant #workers since 1950s (as well as Greek, Italian, Spanish), constant racism & classism, 1973 Ford strikes and the true cost of the 'Wirtschaftswunder'.
#TheTexasChainsawMassacre (1974) is the greatest horror movie ever made. I hope this #documetary featuring #StephenKing and #TakashiMiike knocks it out of the park.
This is also probably the result of 'flooding the narrative' and the way the whole 2024 #documetary feels dated in the light of constant military creep. Things evidently didn't stop there and current protests & online campaigns against importing Palantir tech into Germany (& elsewhere) are ongoing.
