That's why today we celebrated the naming of a tulip in her honor:

Dr. Kathrin Meyer, former Secretary General of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, received the Anne Frank Special Recognition Award for her commitment to fighting intolerance, antisemitism, racism, and discrimination.

Dr. Irene Butter, a child Holocaust survivor, educator, and peace activist, received the #AnneFrankAward for Human Dignity & Tolerance.

She has dedicated her life to educating Americans about the horrors of the Holocaust.
