UBI is the embodiment of an implicit social contract on resources between the citizen and society. Citizens provide society with their labor, data, and rights to natural resources (from terrestrial to cosmic), which create added value unattainable by an individual. This approach is logical and economically sound: lack of suitable work is more often a systemic feature than a personal failure. UBI transforms collective resources into a tool of social stability, allowing everyone to live with dignity regardless of labor market conditions while society continues to develop.
