Yes, so true. I picked them both for my #EYDC2023 faves. I was pretty fascinated by his character. As mentioned below, I generally don't get into his character's personality type, but he played it off so well that it was hard not to fall. The FL was wonderful too & brought that character to life!
Day 2: favourite actress discovered in 2024?
She's my queen. #EYDC2023
And that officially concludes my terribly disorganized #EYDC2023! Thank you again to @anniedelavoye.bsky.social 🫰 Enjoyed the challenge and reading everyone's posts 🥰
#EYDC2023 Day 31 - Favorite Kdrama of the year would've been Behind Your Touch if it didn't fumble the second half..
So I will go with Moving. It gave me hope for Korean superhero-esque projects (even though the CGI still needs work) 🥹
Earth Pirapat as Jim Jaruek Nueangna-uam and Mix Sahaphap as Wen Wongsakorn Thunapakarn in Moonlight Chicken.
Gemini Norawit as Tinn Tinnaphob Jirawatthanakul and Fourth Nattawat as Gun Guntaphon Wongwitthaya in My School President.
Ryeoun as Ha Eun Gyeol and Choi Hyun Wook as Ha Yi Chan in Twinkling Watermelon.
Go Youn Jung as Jang Hee Soo in Moving.
D. 31 Favorite drama of 2023
This is hard for me. For some time, I thought there was something wrong with me by how I couldn't love anything, but I was wrong. So here's a few that reminded me of how art can remind us of all that we love in us and in the world around us #EYDC2023
D. 30 Was 2023 a good drama year for you?
It was... not. I was depressed and mostly finishing things through groupwatches, lacking the energy to finish dramas by myself. But I saw my favorites, met new ones, and made new fandom friends, so ultimately... I'm happy #EYDC2023
My Love Mix-Up Thai adaptation poster featuring Fourth Nattawat, Gemini Norawit, Chokun Puttipong and Pahn Pathitta.
Black and white pictures of Lee Ji Eun and Park Bo Gum.
D. 29 A 2024 drama you're excited for
Aside from #MyLoveMixUpTH, the next drama for my new favorite babies #GeminiFourth, there will be no force in this world to protect you from how loud I'll be for #YouHaveDoneWell #IU #ParkBoGum #EYDC2023
Kim Tae Ri as Gu San Young in Revenant.
Stills from Enigma The Series.
D. 28 Something you want to see in more dramas
More horror and less rich people shouting at each other in 2024. #EYDC2023
Win Metawin as Ajin Nakharittha standing behind Prim Chanikarn as Fa Farinda Panya-angkul for Enigma the Series.
D. 27 A 2023 drama too few people watched
I saw it making the rounds in my timeline when it aired, but I just want to boost #EnigmaSeries because the quality surprised me and I really want GMMTV to make more dramas like it in the future. #EYDC2023
Poster of Park Bo Young as Jung Da Eun in Daily Dose of Sunshine.
D. 26 Most disappointing drama of 2023
I waited a long time for #DailyDoseofSunshine. It's been so long since I loved PBY in anything. But then there were nonsensical romance plots, friendship disregarded in favor of romance again. The production value couldn't save it #EYDC2023
Ryu Seung Ryong as Jang Joo Won and Kwak Sun Young as Hwang Ji Hee in Moving (2023).
Gemini Norawit as Tinn Tinnaphob Jirawatthanakul and Fourth Nattawat as Gun Guntaphon Wongwitthaya in My School President (2022-2023)
Billkin Putthipong as Teh Krittikorn Saetan and PP Krit as Oh-aew Panwa Suramontha in I Told Sunset About You (2020)
Jimmy Jitaraphol as Mhok and Sea Tawinan as Day Danainat Kopnopphakhun in Last Twilight (2023)
D. 25 Favorite romance of 2023
There was so much beauty in my year. The romance that lives eternal, beyond death. The young romance that made me happy for the future, the painful one that made me feel alive. And romance that exists despite everyone else. #EYDC2023
D. 24 Favorite costumes of 2023
I only really watched modern dramas and nothing stood out in them, BUT #GyeongseongCreature is on my list and I intend on watching it this year still and the costumes look positively stunning. #EYDC2023
D.23 Longest drama you completed in 2023
This wasn't a year for long dramas for me, but I did manage to finish one. The hero of my year, #Moving #EYDC2023
Hagiwara Riku as Hira Kazunari and Yagi Yusei as Kiyoi Sou in Utsukushii Kare 2.
D. 22 Shortest drama you completed in 2023
I watched many short dramas this year but the shortest in terms of runtime was #MyBeautifulMan2. A worthy sequel to the original that delivered exactly what I wanted, and wonderfully concluded in #MyBeautifulManEternal. #EYDC2023
Takahashi Issei as Takahashi Satoru in Koisenu Futari.
D. 21 A drama that was better than expected
Not from this year but watched this year. Few dramas managed to hit as close to home as #KoisenuFutari. It was like getting a warm hug and making a new friend who understood me. #EYDC2023
Kim Tae Ri as Gu San Young in Revenant.
D. 20 A drama that made you sad or cry
Something pierced through me when Gu San Young asked, "Why and for whom did I mistreat myself so cruelly?" #Revenant #KimTaeRi #EYDC2023
D.19 A drama that made you laugh
I'm still not finished with it bc it's a groupwatch, but every week when it's time to watch #TwinklingWatermelon, I'm excited to laugh out loud. I adore these kids. #EYDC2023
#EYDC2023 Day 31 - Favorite Kdrama of 2023 is Taxi Driver . . . No wait, DP . . . No wait . . . The Matchmakers . . . I’ll settle on Taxi Driver - I had so much fun watching every episode. (And thank you, 2023, for introducing me to Into the Ring and Park Sung Hoon. Some addictions are worth it!)
Day 31 #EYDC2023 Favorite kdrama: Call It Love - I know some lost interest but I like these slow character-driven dramas… let’s hope for some more like this in 2024!
Day 31: Favorite drama of 2023
Yep, you guessed it, Miraculous Brothers. Great story, acting, soundtrack.
#kdrama #EYDC2023
Day 30: Was 2023 a good drama year for you?
Yes, got some great recommendations from this challenge!
#kdrama #EYDC2023
#EYDC2023 Day 30 - sorta wanted to avoid this prompt because I have so many thoughts about whether 2023 was a good drama year or not.
I guess it was a bit.. disappointing in many aspects. So many dramas that were promising, but ultimately weren't fulfilling.. 1/n
#EYDC2023 Day 30: Overall a good year? Started strong with Alchemy of Souls & Glory - peaked with Call it Love & Moving - wrapping up cute with My Demon, Park’s Marriage Contract and Matchmakers… also liked Destined w/You, Daily Dose of Sunshine… if you can't already tell I'm a pretty easy audience
#EYDC2023 Day 30 - overall, it was a good Kdrama year for me. Found some all-time favorites: Taxi Driver, DP, The Glory, and my ❤️drama, Into the Ring. I even liked King the Land 🤷♀️.
#EYDC2023 Day 29 - I'm keeping my expectations for 2024 dramas extremely low because I don't want to jinx anything 🫥
BUT IT SURE WOULD BE NICE IF KIM EUNHEE DECIDED TO WORK ON KINGDOM S3 AND NETFLIX GIVES IT A NICE BUDGET 🛐
Day 29: A 2024 drama you're excited for
I'm excited to make a dent in my existing "watchlist" as they will all be new to me. You know, before I add another crop. Good luck to me.
#kdrama #EYDC2023
#EYDC2023 Day 29 — the 2024 KDrama I’m most excited about is Queen of Tears. Just can’t wait (even though it couldn’t possibly live up to my expectations).
Day 29: looking forward to: the Stranger spin-off w/Lee
Joon-Hyuk #EYDC2023 kdrama
#EYDC2023 Day 28 - I want to see more LOVING PARENTS like in Moving 👍
NO MORE showing of ab*s*ve parents like in Castaway Diva 👎👎
