#EZPass NY is fully fycked. I can't imagine even a Cable company as badly run.

The #EZPass system seems to be having problems on the CS side. The web sites for NY and Mass are not functioning well.
The toll free lines are on perma-hold, and the online chat just hung up on me.
I think I hate it here.

A phishing attempt - a text message claiming that I have overdue EZPass highway tolls.

Hmmm...so, I went through #EZpass tolls in NY and MA last week, and I just received this #phishing attempt from what appears to be a UK phone number (but is probably forged). The domain name in the link is registered with Alibaba Cloud, and the IP addresses run through Cloudflare. #scam

#EZPass is a scam. You have to pay to report a stolen Tag. You do not get reimbursed for someone using your stolen tags. This is madness.

Ok, look, if you're gonna scam people with one of these phony notices, at least try harder. PennDOT is not going to send me texts like this, of course. If they did, um, they sure aren't going to end with:

Ah, Yes…Another Scam I posted this article to Facebook last week. My son let me know he received one that day. And I won this lottery today! This one is text based. Watch for these E-Z Pass texts that state you have an unpaid toll. Well, it's fraudulent. As always, DO NOT CLICK THE LINK! Report it as a scam or junk text, then delete it.

Is there any state worse than #Delaware for #EZPass violations. Get a ticket for pass not being read. Most states just send you bill and you pay it, no problem. But Delaware tacks on $50 of "administrative" fees. Total bullshit. And this is first notice! #imnotpayin the fees.
