Everything!

✅ The people: the source (storyteller) and the receiver (audience)
✅ The past: history and other patterns
✅ The present: circumstances surrounding the content

People who are fighting for their rights and their lives are entitled to not be nice about it!

Inclusive language is not always #consciouslanguage. Think: “Black Lives Matter” vs. “All Lives Matter." Overincluding can mean the most marginalized in that group become invisible.
