3 former Memphis police officers found not guilty in the death of Tyre Nichols A jury found the three men not guilty of all charges in connection with the 2023 fatal beating, including the most serious charge of second-degree murder.

A total of 5 #PoliceOfficers were initially fired & charged w both #federal and #state #crimes related to #TryeNichols' death. Two #PleadedGuilty in #FederalCourt last year & #testified against their former colleagues. Both #EmmittMartin & #DesmondMills also intend to plead guilty to state offenses.
