Last week, Akira Miki, Rotary PolioPlus National Advocacy Advisor, and Dr. Shigeru Omi, Rotary Polio Eradication Ambassador, met with the Minister of Finance Satsuki Katayama and key stakeholders. We provided an update and expressed gratitude for Japan’s continued support of #EndPolio.

Polio has no cure. But it is preventable.

While poliovirus circulates in #Afghanistan, every child under 5 needs 2 drops of the vaccine.
